Who is swimming around your website?

The script is about 1.5 KB (compressed) and loads asynchronously: the browser builds your page first and fetches Reiger alongside it. Each page sends one small message to our server, and one more with the reading time when the visitor leaves the page.

No. If our server cannot be reached, nothing happens on your site: the script stops quietly. It does not read forms, input fields or keystrokes.

Two lines of code in the head of the site, or one tag in Google Tag Manager. If your site has a Content-Security-Policy, one domain is added to it. Earlybeurt supplies the code and checks after installation that the first visits come in.

Yes. Reiger has two modes: one that only measures after consent through your cookie banner, and one without asking for consent. We discuss with you which mode fits.

Yes, page changes are counted automatically.

No. Reiger only recognises the organisation behind a business internet connection, never a person. Visitors on a home or mobile connection stay anonymous. We never show sole traders or other businesses of natural persons.

No. Reiger sets no cookies and stores nothing in your visitor's browser. When a browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we measure nothing.

No. The full IP address is only used to look up the organisation and is then thrown away. We only keep a shortened network address, the page visited, the referring website and, when there is one, the recognised organisation.

On servers in the European Union. Visit data is deleted after 13 months.

Not for cookies from Reiger itself, because it sets none. Whether the script needs consent under the Dutch cookie rule (Telecommunicatiewet article 11.7a) has not been settled legally. That is why you choose: measure after consent through your banner (certain, but you see fewer visitors), or measure without asking for consent on the basis of a recorded balancing of interests, with a mention in your privacy statement and a way to object. We are still having our legal position reviewed by a privacy lawyer.

Reiger is built to process as little as possible: organisations only, no cookies, no stored IP address, data in the EU. We supply a data processing agreement and a text for your privacy statement. The balancing of interests and the risk assessment (DPIA) are being prepared with a privacy lawyer. Until that review is done, we do not promise GDPR compliance.

We supply a ready-made paragraph: what Reiger processes, why, on which legal basis, for how long, and how a visitor can object.

That depends on your traffic: only visits from a business connection can be recognised, home, mobile and VPN connections cannot. We do not quote a percentage in advance. How many there are on your site, you see in your dashboard after installation.

Every recognised organisation gets a confidence label with the reasoning attached, and Dutch companies are checked against the Dutch trade register. Every daily email has "correct" and "not correct" for each company. That is how we really measure accuracy on your site.

A visit is processed right after the pageview. Every morning you get an email with the companies recognised the day before, only when there is something to report.

You remove the two lines of code and Reiger measures nothing more. On request we delete all data of your website.
